Since our founding in 2003, we have supported hundreds of thousands of volunteer editors who edit, expand, and curate the Wikimedia projects.

The Wikimedia Foundation is a nonprofit responsible for hosting and protecting Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects, providing technology infrastructure and support for volunteer editors, and funding legal and advocacy efforts to protect free knowledge.
