Robert Welch Designs Ltd is a British design company founded in 1955 by Robert Radford Welch, an accomplished industrial designer and silversmith. Based in the historic Silk Mill in Chipping Campden, the company has created over three thousand kitchenware and homeware products, selling around 50 million items globally. After Robert Welch's passing in 2000, his children, Alice and Rupert Welch, took on leadership roles, ensuring the continuation of their father's design legacy. The company specializes in stainless steel cutlery and tableware, along with a variety of kitchenware and homeware items, including cast iron pieces and handmade silver products. Notable designs include the steel toaster rack, the Alveston teapot, and the Chantry Knife Sharpener. Robert Welch Designs has collaborated with prestigious clients such as Royal Doulton and the British Museum, and its products are available in over 100 countries, found in homes, hotels, and restaurants worldwide. The company also operates a studio shop in Chipping Campden, showcasing its industrial designs and handmade products.
