Recreation Beauty

We believe that smelling good is feeling amazing. Beautiful shouldn't cost your health, animals or the planet. Everything we do comes back to total health from the inside out - physical, mental, emotional and environmental. Our products are non-toxic, with no animal products, no animal testing and we use only sustainable packaging. Recreation Beauty is an Australian-owned, all-natural beauty co based in Sydney's Bondi Beach. Our philosophy means we don't use any chemicals in the preparation of our products, and as many ingredients as possible are organic. All ingredients are ethically-sourced. There are no animal products in our fragrances, which is unique (did you know that musk used to come from the gland of a male musk deer?). And definitely no animal testing. At all. We have banned single-use plastics (you won't find our products wrapped in unnecessary plastic), and our plastic bottles are made from 50% recycled plastic. We're trying to make that 100% but the technology has not caught up to our dreams yet. Soon however, that will be a reality. With over 20 years experience in the beauty and fashion industry, we're led by Nedahl Stelio, a former Cleo and Cosmopolitan magazine Editor who has also been Editor of Fairfax's health section and Good Food, she embodies the organic lifestyle and has channelled it into a fragrance collection. "I'd been using all-natural products for nine years, ever since I started trying to get pregnant and cut chemicals out of my life. Perfume is one of the worst offenders and I found myself spraying perfume into my hair or on my clothes so it wouldn't touch my skin. That's when I knew I had to create something that was as safe as it was beautiful. And so Recreation was born." Recreation is all things fresh, fun, healthy, happy.
