Nigeria Electricity Liability Management Company (NELMCO)

Nigeria Electricity Liability Management Ltd/Gte (NELMCO) is a Special Purpose Entity created by the Federal Government of Nigeria to manage the liabilities and non-core assets of the defunct Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN). Incorporated on August 21, 2006 under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (1990), it assumes responsibility for PHCN liabilities leading up to the November 1, 2013 handover and manages non-core assets prior to disposal.
