British Eventing

British Eventing (BE) is the national governing body for eventing in Great Britain. It regulates the sport and organizes nearly 200 affiliated events each year across England, Scotland, and Wales. BE is responsible for the selection of Team GB for the Olympics and other international competitions. Eventing consists of three phases: dressage, showjumping, and cross-country, with competition levels ranging from BE80 to 5*. The organization, originally known as the British Horse Trials Association, rebranded in 2001. BE operates as a private company limited by guarantee and has over 11,000 members. It is part of the British Equestrian Federation, which oversees equestrian sports in the country. BE provides various services, including event regulation, training programs for members and officials, and support for Team GB. The organization focuses on developing the sport and serving its stakeholders while promoting safety and equality within the equestrian community.
