In waste management, Veolia handles household waste collection, hazardous waste processing, and sludge treatment. The energy services encompass heating, cooling, energy performance contracts, and renewable energy production. Additionally, Veolia offers transport services and specializes in environmental solutions and resource recovery. Veolia has a strong financial presence, reporting revenues of €27.19 billion in 2020. The company has made notable acquisitions, including Browning-Ferris Industries in 2003, which expanded its reach into the North American market.
