The South West of Scotland Transport Partnership (SWestrans)
SWestrans (The South West of Scotland Transport Partnership) is a regional transport partnership set up under the Transport (Scotland) Act 2005 to determine and deliver better transport locally and nationally, including acting as a catalyst for regeneration of the region's economy.
Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) is the largest of Scotland’s seven regional transport partnerships. It aims to bring together local authorities and other regional stakeholders to strengthen the planning and delivery of regional transport across the west of Scotland.
