Sustainability Victoria

Sustainability Victoria (SV) is a Victorian state government agency focused on helping the community transition to a circular, climate-resilient, and clean economy. The agency aims to improve resource management, reduce waste, and cut emissions to meet Victoria's environmental targets, including diverting 80% of waste from landfills by 2030 and achieving net zero emissions. SV operates under its SV2030 strategy, which outlines a plan for emissions reduction and waste minimization. The agency provides support through investment and innovation, behavior change initiatives, and community action projects. It offers resources and advice on sustainable practices, including directories of recycled-content products and funding programs for small and medium enterprises. SV collaborates with various partners, including businesses, universities, and government entities, to foster innovation and promote circular economy principles throughout Victoria.
