Since its founding in 1939, the Irish Red Cross has been dedicated to serving people in need in Ireland and in humanitarian crises worldwide. The organization maintains an active network of over 3,000 volunteers at 73 branches across the Republic of Ireland.
The British Red Cross Society is the United Kingdom body of the worldwide neutral and impartial humanitarian Red Cross and Red Crescent movement, providing emergency response, health and social care, and support to people in crisis in the UK and overseas.
