Northside Hospital is a non-profit healthcare system based in Atlanta, Georgia, recognized for its expertise in women's, maternity, pediatric, and cancer care. The flagship facility, Northside Hospital Atlanta, has grown from its original 250-288 beds since opening in 1970 to 621 beds today, employing over 11,000 staff and 2,300 physicians. The hospital has achieved significant milestones, including the establishment of a dedicated Women's Center in 1999 and the addition of an eight-story East Tower in 2018. The hospital system offers a wide range of high-quality healthcare services. It is a leader in maternity and women's care, including high-risk pregnancies and neonatal services, and is the first U.S. hospital to receive Level IV Maternal Center verification. Northside also excels in cancer care, treating more new cases than any other system in Georgia, and provides comprehensive cardiac and pediatric care.
