Cure Brain Cancer Foundation is an Australian non-profit organization established in 2001. It serves as a leading advocate for brain cancer research, awareness, and community support. The Foundation's mission is to improve brain cancer survival rates, enhance the quality of life for those affected, and ultimately find a cure. It emphasizes the urgent need for increased research funding, as brain cancer significantly impacts children and young adults in Australia. The Foundation has committed over $30 million to brain cancer research initiatives, including a substantial contribution to the Australian Brain Cancer Mission. It also organizes community events like Walk4BrainCancer, which engages thousands of participants and raises funds for research. In response to the public health crisis of breast cancer, the Breast Cancer Fund identifies – and advocates for elimination of – the environmental and other preventable causes of the disease. No more than 10 percent of breast cancers are genetic, and science increasingly points to toxic chemicals and radiation as factors in the sharp rise of breast cancer incidence. Through public education, policy initiatives, outdoor challenges and other innovative campaigns, the Breast Cancer Fund mobilizes the public to secure the changes needed to stop this devastating epidemic.
