The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) is the lead agency for New Zealand’s social sector, supporting people through employment, income support and superannuation services, student allowances and loans, and social housing assistance, with funding for community service providers. MSD also provides social policy advice to government and works with partners to help build successful individuals and strong, healthy families and communities.
