At Doncaster foodbank, our volunteers take time to welcome, listen to and signpost clients to other organisations/services who can help address the underlying cause of their problem.
Food vouchers are issued to people who are suffering a financial crisis and who cannot afford to buy food. They are issued through referrals from professional care and support organisations in Doncaster, following an assessment of circumstances.
A voucher can be redeemed for emergency food supplies at one of our foodbank sessions held at:
St James Church (Town) on Wednesdays/Fridays,
St Paul's Church (Wheatley) on Tuesdays,
or Holmescarr Centre (Rossington) on Thursdays.
Each centre is open 10am -12pm and food parcels provide enough nutritionally balanced food, per person, for three days.

Attend in person only. Please take with you, your ID (preferably photo ID) & formal evidence of your crisis such as debt letters, DWP correspondence, a bank statement, etc.

The referral agency will need to make an assessment of your situation before seeing if they can provide a voucher.
