Lesley University

Lesley University is a private higher education institution located in Cambridge and Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 1909 as the Lesley Normal School, it initially focused on training kindergarten teachers. The university evolved into a coeducational institution in 2005 and now enrolls over 5,000 students, primarily at the graduate level. Lesley offers a wide range of academic programs, awarding associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. It emphasizes teacher education and includes programs in counseling, expressive arts therapy, liberal arts, creative writing, visual arts, global studies, environmental studies, psychology, business, and management.
