Legacy Health

Legacy Health is a nonprofit hospital system based in Portland, Oregon, serving the Portland and Vancouver metropolitan areas as well as the mid-Willamette Valley. Established in 1970, it is the largest Oregon-based nonprofit healthcare system and a major employer in the region. Legacy is community-owned, with all revenue reinvested into healthcare services. The organization operates six primary-care hospitals, including a dedicated children's hospital, and over 80 clinics offering a range of services. With more than 14,000 employees, including over 3,000 healthcare providers, Legacy provides comprehensive healthcare services such as acute and critical care, outpatient treatment, behavioral health services, and specialized care through various institutes.
