IAATI (International Association of Auto Theft Investigators) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 1952 to improve communication and coordination among professional auto theft investigators. It has grown to over 2,000 members representing 58 countries and includes representatives of law enforcement agencies and the private sector for auto theft investigation, prevention and education.
