ORE Catapult

Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult (ORE Catapult) is the UK's premier innovation centre for offshore renewable energy, established in 2013 by the UK Government. It focuses on accelerating the development and commercialization of offshore wind, wave, and tidal energy technologies. Headquartered in Blyth, Northumberland, ORE Catapult operates across eight UK locations and collaborates internationally, including a partnership in China. The organization employs over 140 professionals and works with a diverse range of stakeholders, including academia, industry, and government. ORE Catapult provides services in research and innovation, testing and validation, engineering solutions, and operations performance. Its facilities include advanced testing and demonstration sites, where it validates designs and optimizes operations for renewable energy technologies. ORE Catapult is committed to supporting clean growth and enhancing the UK's position as a leader in offshore renewables.
