Deaconess Health System

Deaconess Health System is a prominent healthcare network serving the Illinois–Indiana–Kentucky tri-state area, covering 26 counties. Founded in 1892 in Evansville, Indiana, it has grown from a small 19-bed hospital into a comprehensive system with multiple hospitals, clinics, and specialized facilities. The flagship hospital, Deaconess Midtown Hospital, is a Level II trauma center and the largest within the network. Other facilities include Deaconess Gateway Hospital, The Women's Hospital, and Deaconess Cross Pointe, which offers mental health services. The system also provides a wide range of medical services, including primary and specialty care, cardiac care, and trauma care. With a network of over 160 physicians and advanced practitioners, Deaconess Health System is dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of families in the tri-state area.
