Coravin

Coravin is a wine preservation technology company founded in 2011 by biomedical engineer Greg Lambrecht. The company specializes in systems that allow wine enthusiasts and professionals to pour individual glasses from bottles without removing the cork, preserving the remaining wine's quality. The flagship product, the Original Coravin System, uses a needle to pierce the cork and injects argon gas, preventing oxidation and maintaining freshness. In 2021, Coravin launched the Coravin Sparkling by-the-Glass System, designed to preserve the carbonation and flavor of sparkling wines for weeks.
