Colorado State University (CSU) is a public land-grant research university located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Established in 1870 as the Colorado Agricultural College, CSU has evolved significantly over the years. It became Colorado State College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts in 1935 and adopted its current name in 1957, reflecting a broader academic focus.
