Jopwell

Jopwell is a diversity hiring platform founded in 2014 and launched in 2015 by Porter Braswell and Ryan Williams. Based in New York City, Jopwell focuses on connecting Black, Latinx, and Native American professionals and students with leading employers to enhance diversity in recruitment. The platform has built a community of over 130,000 members and has facilitated numerous job and internship opportunities. Jopwell's mission is to increase representation of underrepresented talent in the workforce. It offers a talent platform that serves as a recruiting tool, linking community members with employer partners. Additionally, Jopwell features "The Well," an editorial hub that provides career advice and resources tailored for its community. In May 2023, Jopwell was acquired by True, continuing its efforts to promote diversity in leadership while integrating with True's tech-enabled services.
