39 North is a nonprofit organization in St. Louis, established in 2023, that serves as an agtech innovation district. It promotes collaboration, innovation, and sustainability in agriculture technology and agri-food tech. The district is home to a diverse community of scientists, founders, investors, and farmers, and is anchored by prominent institutions like Bayer Crop Science and the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center. The district features facilities such as the Helix Center BioTech Incubator and BRDG Park, providing resources for over 35 growing agtech companies. 39 North focuses on supporting startups and scale-ups through incubators, equipment sharing, and talent development. It also hosts events to foster community collaboration and builds national partnerships to enhance resource sharing. With a commitment to economic growth, 39 North aims to create a vibrant environment that attracts skilled workers and advances agtech innovation from lab to market.
